• Flexible Rel Tag Management: You can easily set rel tags such as nofollow, noopener, noreferrer from the admin panel.
• Excluded Domains: Links for domains (e.g. mybb.pro) and subdomains (e.g. subdomain.mybb.pro) that you specify are not cloaked in any way. Both www and non-www versions of the same domain are automatically deduplicated.
• Group Permissions: You can choose not to hide links for specific user groups (for example, admins or moderators). However, external links are always hidden for the visitor group (non-logged-in users).
• Excluded Forums: External links and other restrictions of the plugin will be disabled in the forums you select, the plugin will remain inactive in the selected forums.
• Custom CSS: You can customize the messages that are shown instead of hidden links with the Custom CSS area in the plugin settings. Any changes you make in the plugin panel will be applied to all your themes.
• Custom Alert Messages: You can customize the messages shown instead of hidden links from the plugin settings.
• Hiding Internal Links: By default, the plugin only hides external links shared in your threads and posts. You can choose to hide internal links from the plugin settings. This will hide all internal and external links.
• Post Limit: You can hide links with the post limit you specify in the plugin settings. External links are hidden for any user who does not have the post limit you specify, and a warning message is displayed informing them of the number of posts required to view the links. Users with the required number of posts can view the links without any restrictions.
• Easy Installation and Management: You can quickly configure all settings from the administration panel. The plugin is fully compatible with MyBB 1.8.x versions.
• Security and Performance: It protects forum performance with optimized code structure while increasing security with tags like noopener.
  

1. Download the plugin files here or via Github.
2. Extract the .zip file you downloaded from the archive.
3. Upload the /inc/ folder from the archive to the main directory where your forum is installed.
4. Then, install the plugin by clicking Install & Activate the plugin called Hide Links (1.0) from the MyBB Admin Control Panel -> Plugins -> Inactive Plugins section.
5. You can configure the plugin's settings from the settings group called Forum Settings -> Hide Links Plugin Settings.
