Redeyed Sentinel is a free CAPTCHA and IP-reputation plugin for MyBB 1.8 that protects your registration form from bots and abuse. It uses Redeyed's self-hosted Sentinel service rather than any third-party tracker.

Features
- Native CAPTCHA on the registration form — no Google reCAPTCHA required.
- IP reputation scoring (VPN, Tor, proxy, datacenter, abuse classification) built in.
- Adaptive difficulty — challenges scale automatically with each visitor's live risk band.
- Customizable widget — pick the challenge type, theme, colour scheme and difficulty from the AdminCP (all optional).
- Fails open: with no keys set, the plugin never blocks legitimate users.
- AdminCP settings panel for your Site Key, Secret Key, an optional base URL for self-hosted deployments, and the widget appearance options.
- Only the public Site Key is printed to your HTML; the Secret Key stays server-side and is used to verify submissions.

Installation
1. Upload inc/plugins/redeyed_sentinel.php to your forum's inc/plugins/ directory.
2. AdminCP → Configuration → Plugins → Install & Activate "Redeyed Sentinel".
3. AdminCP → Configuration → Settings → Redeyed Sentinel — paste your Site Key and Secret Key. Optionally set the widget type, theme, colour scheme and difficulty.

How to get keys
Sign up free at https://redeyed.com. In your Laboratory panel open Sentinel → Sites, create a site, and copy its Site Key (public) and Secret Key (private, shown once).
