A plugin that exposes forum and private-message features through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It provides a guest-only public endpoint and an authenticated endpoint backed by OAuth 2.1-style Authorization Code flow with PKCE S256.

User and administrator controls

Users can inspect permissions and revoke authorized applications in User CP → Connected applications. Administrators can configure the endpoint and each tool, select authorizing primary or additional user groups through MyBB's native group selector, revoke dynamic clients, inspect grants, and review write audit entries in ACP → Configuration → MyBB MCP Server.

The mybb_mcp_cleanup MyBB task removes expired protocol state. Deactivation disables the task and endpoints; uninstalling removes MCP tables, settings, templates, and the task.
