Featured Polls is a MyBB 1.8.x plugin that lets you elevate selected thread polls into a global block (e.g. on forum index or portal). Users can vote via AJAX, toggle between results and voting, undo votes (if allowed), and mods/admins can manage featured polls through a clean ModCP interface.

Installation & Requirements
- Requires MyBB 1.8.x, tested on PHP 8.4
- Upload everything inside "UPLOAD" folder to your forum root
- Activate the plugin from Admin CP -> Plugins
- Go to ModCP -> Featured Polls to configure and start featuring
Settings & Configuration
- Enable/disable plugin globally
- Auto-promote from queue when a featured poll expires
- Choose where to insert auto-promoted polls (top / bottom)
- Max number of featured polls to display
- Default expiry days for polls with no timeout
- Redirect after vote option
- Who can view the featured block (usergroups)
- Who can manage featured polls (admins / super mods)
Usage / Workflow
- By default, the plugin inserts {$featured_polls} into your index template. You can move this to wherever you want the featured poll box to display
- User requests their poll to be featured (via checkbox)
- SMods review in the “Requested Polls” list in ModCP
- Approve to move to Featured, or move to queue, or remove completely from featuring system
- In ModCP, drag polls to reorder between Featured / Queue / Expired / Pending
- Use bulk actions for multiple polls
- New polls (by PID) can be featured directly via “Add by PID”
- Featured block is automatically removed or replaced when polls expire
