The MyBB Domain Sync plugin allows two domains to share a single MyBB database while keeping each domain's settings completely independent. Each domain can have its own board URL, cookie prefix, upload paths, email configuration, and more, ensuring visitors always see the correct site's content without session or cookie conflicts.

Theme & Template Management: MyBB Domain Sync automatically creates child themes for every theme on the secondary domain. When a guest or user visits the second domain, the plugin loads the child version of the current default theme instead of the primary domain's theme. Administrators can manage domain-specific template overrides through a dedicated ACP interface, with options to create, edit, revert, and organize overrides for each template set.

Seamless Integration: The plugin integrates directly with MyBB using core hooks to handle URL rewriting, cookie isolation, theme switching, and template overrides at runtime. No manual file copying or database duplication is required—everything is managed automatically using MyBB's existing hooks and data structures.
