Overview
Dedication Line is a MyBB 1.8.x plugin that lets users post short dedication messages displayed globally as a scrolling ticker.
Messages can be addressed to everyone or specific users, styled with colorful themes, posted anonymously, and managed directly in the ModCP with full moderation control.

Installation & Requirements

• Requires MyBB 1.8.x, tested on PHP 8.4
  
  
• Upload everything inside the "Upload" folder to your forum root
  
  
• Activate the plugin from Admin CP -> Plugins
  
  
• Configure settings under Configuration -> Dedication Line Settings
  
  
• Ticker appears on the forum index by default
  

Settings & Configuration

• Enable/disable plugin globally
  
  
• Choose default theme and scroll direction
  
  
• Adjust scroll speed and max messages shown
  
  
• Allow anonymous dedications or multiple recipients
  
  
• Auto-delete expired dedications after X hours
  
  
• Enable PM notifications
  
  
• Define allowed posting groups and moderation groups
  

Usage

• Members post dedications through the main Dedication Line page
  
  
• Messages appear globally in the scrolling ticker bar
  
  
• Mods/Admins can approve, unapprove, or delete dedications in ModCP
  
  
• Users can edit or remove their own dedications
  
  
• Anonymous posts appear as “Anonymous” but are still manageable by mods
  
  
• Ticker pauses on hover and supports multiple display themes
