Hallo Community.
Ich hab jetzt zwei neue User für mein Forum angeworben,
sie sagen mir bei ihnen kommt die Bestätigungsmail
nicht an. Woran kann das liegen?

hast Du mal die verschiedenen Themen angesehen, die hierzu die Suche ausspuckt?

Das kann daran liegen, das bei dir die Mail-Funktion nicht aktiviert ist, vom Provider oder das die Mail im Spam-Ordner landet. Versuche das ganze mit SMTP zu machen.

Keines der Probleme trifft auf mich zu.
Also besprechen wir es in dem Thread.
Also..
im ACP unter "Allgemeine Konfiguration"
Ist alles richtig eingestellt.
Unter "Tools & Verwaltung" wird mir angezeigt,
das alle genannten Dateien beschreibbar sind.
Ich benutze PHP mail ().
In den System-Log Daten ist folgendes eingetragen:
Bei dem ersten User (*@hotmail-Adresse):
"MyBB was unable to send the email using the PHP mail() function."
Bei dem zweiten, bei dem die selbe Fehlermeldung x2 steht: (*@ymail.com-Adresse)
"MyBB was unable to send the email using the PHP mail() function."
Was ist das Problem?

Bei mir geht das auch nicht und ich hab beides probiert....
Geht nicht
SMTP Server = smtp.1und1.de oder ?
Alle Dateien sind Beschreibbar

hast du das Test-Script aus diesem Beitrag ausgeführt und evtl. diese Änderung durchgeführt?

Bei Pythalhost scheint die Mail-Fkt. standardmäßig deaktiviert zu sein. Man muss die wohl extra freischalten lassen:

Achso..
Eigentlich ist egal die Funktion, Bei Registrieren Mail bestätigen, kann auf sofort bestätigen.
Aber wenn die ihr Passwort vergessen..

Lass die doch einfach die Funktion freischalten!
