Hallo, sorry bin Neuling und möchte gerne Forum Runner auf meinem Forum installieren. Nun weiß ich aber nicht wie ich das Upload in meine Root Directory bekomme. Habe das ganze schon in meinen Ordner Forum hineingelegt (über mein FTP Programm) aber unter Konfiguration und Plugins finde ich es nicht. Vielleicht kann mir jemand von Euch helfen. Welches ist die Root directory?

Also in meinem Ordner html liegt der Ornder Forum, in dem das ganze MyBB liegt. Dort hinein habe ich den Ordner von Forum Runner kopiert. Und zwar einmal als kompletter Upload, als auch einmal als einzelne Ordner. Bei beiden Versuchen kein Plugin zu finden...

Also irgendwie bin ich zu blöd dafür. Ich habe das Forumrunner upload jetzt nun in fast alle Verzeichnisse einmal abgelegt und immer wieder die Plugins aktualisiert, aber es funktioniert bei mir nicht. Wäre über eine detaillierte Hilfe echt dankbar.

Die Beschreibung im Plugin ist in der Tat ein wenig irreführend. Mit dem upload-Ordner selbst ist nichts anzustellen! Es geht um die Ordner, die sich darin befinden.

Du muss den Ordner "forumrunner" in das Root-Verzeichnis Deines Forum kopieren, genauso wie den kompletten inc-Ordner (dadurch kommt dann auch die Plugin-Datei in das richtige Verzeichnis und das Plugin erscheint im ACP). Dann musst Du noch darauf achten, dass die languages-files des Plugins aus dem Verzeichnis inc/languages/english in das Sprachverzeichnis kopiert werden, das Du in Deinem Forum verwendest.

Das habe ich auch schon gemacht. Leider ohne Erfolg...

Der Inc Folder (großgeschrieben) ist der von Forumrunner, der inc Folder (kleingeschrieben) ist aber im Root Verzeichnis vom Forum. Soll ich nun wirklich aus dem Forum die Spracheinstellungen kopieren oder vom Forumrunner?

Ich weiß ja nicht, von welchem Plugin Du sprichst, aber wenn ich mir den Download von mybb.bom ansehe, dann ist dort das Verzeichnis "inc" klein geschrieben. In diesem Verzeichnis befindet sich unter anderem auch der language-folder. Die Struktur ist da eigentlich die selbe, wie bei vielen anderen Plugins auch.

Ich hatte gestern Abend das Plugin mal schnell installiert und es erscheint ganz normal im ACP zur Installation....

öffne den Ordern "Upload" des forumrunner-Plugins und kopiere die Dateien wie folgt:

• das gesamte Verzeichnis "forumrunner" -> Rootverzeichnis
  
• "inc/plugins/forumrunner.php" -> "inc/pugins"
  
• "inc/tasks/forumrunner.php" -> "inc/tasks"
  
• "inc/languages/english/forumrunner.lang.php" -> "inc/languages/[verwendete Sprache(n)]"
  
• "inc/languages/english/admin/config_forumrunner.lang.php" -> "inc/languages/[verwendete Sprache(n)]/admin"
